Main objective of the Skill Book Scholarship Entrance Test was to identify and encourage talented students from Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Sector-20, Rohini, Pooth Kalan Extension, Delhi, and provide them with opportunities to develop their skills in the computer and digital domain. The event aimed to assess students’ aptitude and knowledge in areas such as computer applications, data entry, graphic design, digital marketing, video editing, and Tally Prime with GST, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Another key objective was to motivate students by offering scholarships to the toppers of each section and discounted professional courses to other participants, ensuring that learning and skill development were accessible to all. The event also sought to raise awareness among students about the importance of skill-based education and career-oriented learning, preparing them for future academic and professional opportunities.
Overall, the Skill Book Scholarship Entrance Test aimed to promote practical learning, recognize talent, encourage self-improvement, and provide students with the guidance and resources needed to succeed in the modern, technology-driven world.
The Skill Book Scholarship Entrance Test was successfully organized at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Sector-20, Rohini, Pooth Kalan Extension, Delhi, on 11 September 2025, starting from 02:00 PM onwards. A total of 466 students participated in the examination, demonstrating strong enthusiasm and keen interest in skill-based education and career-oriented learning.
The primary objective of the event was to identify talented students and provide them with structured opportunities to develop practical computer and digital skills. As part of the scholarship initiative, one topper from each section of every participating class was selected and awarded free access to a professional ADCA (Advance Diploma in Computer Application) course offered by the Skill Book Skill Development Centre. The course curriculum includes industry-relevant modules such as Domestic Data Entry Operator, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Video Editing, and Tally Prime with GST, ensuring holistic skill development aligned with current market demands.
In addition, all participating students were offered admission to the ADCA course at specially discounted fees based on their performance in the entrance test. Students scoring 80% and above were eligible for a course fee of ₹10,600; those scoring 70% and above for ₹12,600; 60% and above for ₹15,600; and 50% and above for ₹18,600. Participants scoring below 50% were provided the opportunity to enroll at a fee of ₹20,600, ensuring that every student benefited from the initiative in some form.
The feedback received from students was highly positive. Many students appreciated the well-organized examination process and found the test engaging, motivating, and relevant to real-world computer skills. They expressed that the scholarship opportunity boosted their confidence and helped them better understand career options in the computer and digital fields.
School teachers also shared encouraging feedback, highlighting that the Skill Book Scholarship Entrance Test was a valuable initiative that promoted skill-based learning beyond the regular academic curriculum.
