Profile of Speaker

Ashish Kumar is the Chairman of Instrainee E-Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he leads with a vision to empower students through vocational training and skill-based education. With over 15 years of experience in mechanical designing and the teaching industry, he has made significant contributions to the field of mechanical design and technical education.

Ms. Pooja Vats is the Co-Founder of Instrainee E-Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Skill Book Skill Development Centre under the Instrainee Education Foundation. With a strong academic background as a Computer Science professor, she has extensive experience in technical education, IT training, and vocational skill development.

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Career Vocational Skills program was to create awareness among students about various job-oriented and skill-based career options available after 10th and 12th class. The program aimed to help students understand the importance of vocational skills in today’s competitive job market and guide them toward practical and career-focused learning paths.

Another key objective was to introduce students to different vocational fields such as graphic designing, digital marketing, accounting, programming, domestic data entry, civil design, mechanical design, interior design, and drafting. Through demonstrations and interactive activities, the program aimed to give students a clear idea of how these skills are used in real work environments.

The program also aimed to motivate students by providing hands-on exposure to industry-relevant software tools and encouraging creative participation through activities like logo designing. Additionally, it sought to support students in making informed decisions about their future education and career paths by helping them explore suitable options based on their interests and abilities.

REPORT IN BRIEF

The Career Vocational Skills program was successfully conducted at DAV Senior Secondary School, Samaypur Badli, Delhi–110042, on 01 November 2025, starting from 09:00 AM onwards. A total of 49 students actively participated in the session, showing strong interest in learning about skill-based and career-oriented education options.

The main focus of the program was to make students aware of various job-oriented vocational courses available after 10th and 12th class. Students were introduced to multiple career fields such as graphic designing, digital marketing, accounting, programming, domestic data entry, civil design, civil engineering, mechanical designing, interior designing, and draftsman courses. The session helped students understand how these skills can lead to practical career opportunities and employment.

During the event, students were shown live demonstrations of different software tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, MS Office, 3ds Max, and several other industry-used applications. A hands-on logo designing activity was also organized, in which students actively participated and showcased their creativity. The activity added excitement to the session, and students enthusiastically competed to win the first position.

The program also included interactive discussions where students openly talked about various career paths after 10th and 12th, asked questions, and gained clarity about future education and skill development options. Overall, the event was informative, engaging, and motivating, helping students gain better awareness of vocational skills, career choices, and practical learning opportunities for their future.

The feedback from students for the Career Vocational Skills program was very positive. Students shared that the session was informative, engaging, and easy to understand. CONCLUSION

The Career Vocational Skills program was successfully conducted and proved to be informative, engaging, and highly beneficial for the students. FUTURE RECOMMENDATIONS

Based on the success of the Career Vocational Skills program, it is recommended that similar career awareness sessions be conducted regularly to guide more students. Extending the duration of the program would allow deeper interaction, detailed demonstrations, and more hands-on activities for better understanding.

It is also suggested to include advanced workshops, real-life project demonstrations, and interaction with industry professionals to give students clearer insight into different career fields. Providing follow-up counseling or guidance sessions can further help students make informed decisions about vocational courses after 10th and 12th.

Expanding the program to cover more schools and involving parents in awareness sessions may also strengthen career planning support. Overall, continuing such programs will help students build confidence, develop practical skills, and choose the right career path based on their interests and abilities.
