The main objective of the Career Vocational Skills event was to create awareness among students of Classes 10th and 12th about different job-oriented and skill-based career options available after school education. The event aimed to help students understand the importance of vocational skills and how these skills can lead to practical employment and career growth.
Another key objective was to introduce students to various vocational fields such as graphic designing, digital marketing, accounting, programming, domestic data entry, civil and mechanical design, interior design, and draftsman courses through live demonstrations and real examples. The program also aimed to guide students in exploring suitable career paths based on their interests and abilities, while motivating them to focus on skill development along with academic studies.
The Career Vocational Skills program was successfully organized at Govt. Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Mangolpur Kalan, Delhi–110085, on 07 November 2025, starting from 09:30 AM onwards. The event saw active participation from 106 students of Classes 10th and 12th across all streams, who showed great interest in learning about skill-based career options.
The main objective of the program was to create awareness about job-oriented vocational courses and career opportunities available after 10th and 12th. Students were introduced to various fields such as graphic designing, digital marketing, accounting, programming, domestic data entry, civil design, civil engineering, mechanical designing, interior designing, and draftsman courses. Live demonstrations were conducted using a projector to help students understand how these skills are applied in real-world scenarios.
The session began with a warm welcome to teachers, students, and coordinators, followed by a basic introduction to careers in the vocational field. The focus then shifted to different computer-related vocational skills, supported by practical examples and demonstrations. An interactive logo designing activity was also organized, where students enthusiastically participated and competed for the first position, making the session engaging and enjoyable.
Students actively interacted during the doubt-clearing and one-to-one guidance session, where they discussed different career paths after 10th and 12th and received personalized support. The overall mood of the students was light, happy, and excited, as they learned new concepts and explored future career possibilities.
The school principal appreciated the initiative and awarded an appreciation certificate in recognition of the valuable social and educational contribution. Overall, the event was informative, interactive, and successful in motivating students toward vocational skills and career-focused learning.

They expressed interest in attending follow-up workshops focused on specific skills such as graphic design, digital marketing, and civil design. Overall, students strongly recommended repeating the event, as they found it helpful, motivating, and valuable for career planning.
