The objective of this guest lecture was to make students aware of employability skills and basic computer knowledge required for academic success and future jobs. The session aimed to guide students on communication skills, professional behavior, and computer fundamentals, supporting skill-based education under the vision of Skill Book – “Skill Hi Shiksha.”

The guest lecture was successfully conducted at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Sector-20, Rohini, with active participation from 250 students of classes 9th to 12th. The session began with a warm welcome and introduction of the speakers.

Mr. Shrikant, Graphic Designer, explained the importance of computer fundamentals, basic digital skills, and how technology plays a key role in modern careers. He also shared insights into creative fields and how skills can create better job opportunities.

Ms. Muskan, Project Coordinator, guided students on employability skills, including communication, discipline, teamwork, and professional attitude. She explained how these skills are important for interviews, workplace success, and personal growth.

The session covered important topics related to employability skills and computer fundamentals in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. Students were guided on the importance of employability skills such as communication, teamwork, discipline, time management, and professional behavior, which are essential for academic success and future jobs. Basic computer fundamentals were also explained, including understanding computers, basic software usage, internet awareness, and digital literacy, helping students realize why computer skills are necessary in almost every career today.

The speakers also discussed the role of skill-based learning in career growth and explained how practical skills, along with education, can improve job opportunities. Students were made aware of different career paths related to technology and creative fields and learned how early skill development can help them choose the right direction after school. In addition, the importance of good behavior, responsibility, and workplace ethics was highlighted to prepare students for interviews and professional environments. Throughout the session, the vision of Skill Book – “Skill Hi Shiksha” was emphasized, encouraging students to focus on practical skills for a confident and successful future.
